To the OCR Media Conference Blog for 2008
This is the third year we have run the conference and we are glad to be back at our original venue from two years ago- CCTV in Smithfield.
This blog will provide links to resources from the day, some of which were prepared specially by our speakers

A very organised, well-resourced conference. I was particularly impressed with the two presentations by Clive Edwards and it was a real pity that time did not allow for continued debate and exploration of some of the issues. As was evident in the low turn-out for Paul Green's inspiring session, more Media teachers need to begin thinking about audio production and textual analysis - I do it for AS (radio adverts) and I find it makes sense to move from working with sound at AS to working with sound and moving images at A2.

An excellent day. Thanks. Is there any chance Waynes Powerpoint slides could be posted as I am trying to convice management that this is what we should do.
Thanks
